Louie came into rescue as a severely injured puppy-- his eyes had to be removed, but in the midst of all of it, his tail never stopped wagging. He knew he was being loved and cared for. This picture just showed his happy attitude!
He loves to play. Having no sight does not even get in his way. Blind dogs are really amazing and can live very wonderful lives.
His eyes healed well and he just looks like his eyes are closed. But, he's listening! :-) Blind dogs' other senses really take over in amazing ways.
