"Gracious" Rescued from a high kill shelter in North Carolina just one day before she was due to be gassed in August 2012. She spent a month there and was never taken out of her run. They just hosed everything down with her and the other dogs still in the run. She was anemic, thin, had horrible skin and could barely walk. She was named because she smelled SO bad when she got out of the shelter that all her rescuers could say was"Good Gracious"! (Thank you Kay and Claretta). She is a lovely senior lady and just went to her new foster home in Richmond.
She is now at Jeanne's and is such an easy one. (We do have some wonderful seniors right now-- Timmy is one who is precious also.)
I think Gracious enjoys Jeanne's house and is comfortable there! Can you tell? :-)
