AMELIA AND THE PINK BED

Amelia-- also known as Meemer-- told her mom she wanted a new pink bed.    The only one her mom could find was a cat bed.    Her mom said she wasn't happy with it-- I agreed.   She looks so uncomfortable, don't you think?   She's pouting-- REALLY?    Amelia, you are teasing us all.   We can see you love your new bed!  You can't fool us!  (Her mom said, "That pink bed has only been here a little while, but it gets such use/abuse. Magnolia beats it up and drags it from room to room, shaking it furiously, then falls asleep in it. Pink beds have such a strange allure..." )
