PUCCINI--A PEKE IN NEED

We received a message that Puccini's owner had died.
He and his brother were brought to the groomer to "be cleaned up" and then left there.   No one came back for them.
Puccini is 9 years old, and has basically had no vet care.   Neither has his brother.
His brother is Reilly-- a 40 pound sweet, mellow boy.   We can't take him into our rescue because he is not a Pekingese, but I'm hoping to find a home for him or a rescue that will take him.
You see, Reilly is blind and deaf and has had no medical care.  But, he follows his caregiver around, is very sweet and gets along with the other dogs and cats there.   He needs a forever home.
Puccini will be joining our rescue in the next few days and he will be given a full work up and get all the care he needs.   If you know anyone who might be able to give a home and medical care to Reilly, please comment or email me at potomacpekes1@gmail.com.   We hope they both get a great forever home!

We find beauty in the most incomprehensible places and the otherwise homely faces. It is our gift to see beyond the dirt, terror, sadness and defeat and find the true soul that lies within. We are Rescue.

Oh that is just so sad. To take them to the groomer and just leave them.
I am praying for someone to take them both .... especially the blind deaf sweet one.

Coco and I are doing a super dooper adoption dance for a fabulous result for them both !!!!
