In October of 2013, Fletch was in a North Carolina shelter when we
were asked to take him into rescue.
He was in rough shape. He was extremely thin.He stayed in his first foster home for awhile, eating multiple small meals a day so he could slowly and safely gain weight.
After over 4 months in rescue, he was ready for a forever home.
And he was adopted into an incredible home. He loved his new mom and dad.
He was so happy there.
He loved time with his new family.
What a difference from the unhealthy little one we took in. He became so healthy and happy and loved.
Fletch had a wonderful life there.
Fletch had a fancy couch cover. Seems all of us use these so our Pekes can get on the furniture. He was perfectly comfortable there. He even had his own welcome mat.
No matter how much they are loved, they still get old. Fletch had heart issues and everything was done to help him.
He is now at peace, and is very missed. What a life he had. Run free now, sweet boy. ๐
