Farewell sir Oliver

Sir Oliver came into rescue in January 2020. He was a stray and his microchip information had not been updated.
He was so sweet but was physically in rough condition.
After time to heal, he was adopted.
He was so loved.
He settled in and was so happy.
Last year, he was all ready for Christmas w his antlers on.
He had a best friend named Sasha.   She passed away earlier this year.
Sir Oliver began having signs of dementia.
It can happen w older dogs but they can still be happy for awhile.
When they become more confused, it’s hard to keep them peaceful.
We never want them to suffer.
As long as he was comfortable, his mom and dad did all they could for him
This week, it became obvious that Sir Oliver was ready. His family helped him to cross the Rainbow Bridge.
With sadness, but great love, they helped him find peace.  I’m sure he immediately looked for his Sasha.  He’s free now. ❤️
