FAREWELL JAX

Jaxson "Jax" came into rescue in January of 2019.

Jax was a street dog and never was quite ready for a family so his foster dad adopted him.
Jax was a foster with sweet Andy (who was my Minnie's son)..   Andy really helped Jax feel safe and loved.
Some just go through a lot of trauma and we want them to be safe and learn they are lovable.
Andy began to feel safe.   When a dog has gone through a lot, they don't automatically feel okay.  It takes time.  His dad gave him all the time he needed.
Jax' foster dad loved Jax even with his idiosyncrasies and Jax knew that.
Jax wasn't a Peke-- but his dad called him an honorary Pekingese.
He took rides in the car and in a big wagon his dad built sides on so the dogs were safe.
Jax was suffering from dementia.   When it got bad, his dad decided it was time for Jax to have peace.  He was a gentle soul, and he deserved a gentle passing.  He got that.   Run free now sweet boy.  I'm so glad you received almost 4 years of love and care.   ðŸ’™
