Toni knew his dad dropped him off at the shelter, but he probably didn't know why. His dad had moved into an assisted living home and couldn't keep Toni there. We found out, and Toni's foster mom (Toni) called and took Toni to visit.
The picture is a little wavy, but you can see how happy he was to see his little boy! Toni is 13 years old and always lived with his dad.
His Dad sat and loved on him and Toni was so happy to see him. Look at that smile!
His foster mom, Toni (on left), her granddaughter and Toni's dad enjoyed the visit. I know Toni the Peke did!
It made his dad's day to see him-- and there will be more visits thanks to a very nice foster mom! This is an extension of rescue I haven't seen before and it just blesses my heart.

These are very special people - how sad it must be to give your dog up but .... to have a special person who is willing to visit you with their dog that they now look after ------ God has a very special place in his heart for you all!!!
I can only imagine what joy this must give that dear old man in his retirement home.

That was very nice of her to do that. I can just imagine how it must feel if u cant keep ur doggie and u dont know if he wil get cared for by someone who will love him like u do. Three horays for that foster mum, God will bless u for ur kindness.
